CRED founder Kunal Shah has stepped down as CEO to lead WhatsApp globally. The move follows Meta’ s US $ 900m investment in the fintech unicorn. Kunal, who previously exited FreeCharge, scaled CRED to 17 million members and US $ 325m in revenue before taking on this new role.

Announced by Judson Althoff, CEO of Microsoft Commercial Business, the new US $ 2.5bn, outcome-driven business unit will embed 6,000 experts at customer sites to co-design and deploy advanced, secure AI solutions for global clients.
