Ahmad Al Khowaiter occupies the position of Chief Technology Officer at state-owned Saudi Arabian petroleum company Saudi Aramco . He is a veteran at the firm , having joined the company in 1983 and worked his way up the ranks . He assumed his current role in 2014 , having previously been Chief Engineer .
