How do you balance innovation with security and compliance when deploying data-driven transformation initiatives in complex environments?

Grant Caley: If you must factor security and compliance into every step of delivering innovation, it will slow or limit the advantages that could be achieved. However, if security and compliance are already built-in, and wrapped around the raw data and embedded in the storage location, then this would enable innovation to accelerate. This would allow organisations to advance without the limitation of having to engineer security and compliance every time they build a new innovation use case.
Balance is difficult, but you can definitely engineer the odds in your favour to enable innovation at pace by not seeing security as an add-on each time, but an integral, foundational part of your environment.
Ann Maya: The past year has been full of AI experimentation, but the focus now is on value and ROI.
