THE TECHNOLOGY INTERVIEW
This natural language approach shows a fundamental rethinking of enterprise software interfaces and how it works in harmony with humans. Rather than requiring users to navigate complex menus or master specific terminology, Ask Oracle already understands their‘ language’, allowing them to interact with sophisticated business systems using everyday terminology.
Keeping humans at the core of it all For Brian and his NetSuite colleagues – including the likes of Founder and EVP of Oracle NetSuite Evan Goldberg, SVP of Product Management Gary Weissinger and Allison Auclair, NetSuite’ s GVP of Product Management, all of whom took to the stage at SuiteWorld 2025 – everything always comes back to the theme of human enablement. On whether NetSuite’ s approach puts humans back at the centre of the AI experience, Brian says:“ We’ re not ready for the fully autonomous business yet, so humans are key. Enabling those humans is a key part of the equation. AI can do some really tremendous stuff in terms of putting data in context and making things easier to use. We think, ultimately, what we’ re doing is enabling humans.” It’ s a stance that acknowledges both AI’ s capabilities and its limitations – rather than promising to replace human workers or fully automate business processes, NetSuite is focused on augmenting human intelligence and making people more effective in their roles. technologymagazine. com 33
