Last year ( 2023 ) saw artificial intelligence ( AI ) take centre-stage in digital transformation . Businesses not only looked to develop AI , but also considered how to better harness the technology and ensure that it is responsible at a global scale .
In particular , generative AI ( GenAI ) was of particular interest for enterprises , given its potential to offer more accurate data and better influence decision-making as a result . With this in mind , we speak with Senior Vice President and Managing Director ( SVP & MD ) of Dell Technologies UK , Steve Young , about how the company is advancing GenAI and how businesses can best address the risks and anxieties associated with the technology .

» I was appointed SVP & MD of Dell Technologies UK in January 2023 after spending over 20 years at Dell , starting as a senior sales executive at EMC in 2001 .
