estlé has completed the first phase of what it describes as the world’ s largest SAP S / 4HANA Cloud Private Edition implementation, migrating 50,000 users across 112 countries in its Asia, Oceania and Africa operations. The deployment represents a shift in enterprise ERP strategy as companies race to embed AI capabilities within core business systems.
The implementation comes as SAP targets 400 embedded AI use cases across its cloud portfolio in 2025, with the technology provider positioning its Joule AI assistant as the interface layer between users and business processes.
SAP S / 4HANA to power Joule AI deployment at Nestlé Nestlé has integrated Joule, SAP’ s conversational AI copilot, directly into its core business systems. The tool automates routine tasks and provides employees with real-time insights across the company’ s operations. SAP has extended Joule to S / 4HANA Cloud Private Edition, automating journal uploads, service initiations and trade classifications.
