Its technology prevents breaches by blocking applications from performing inappropriate processes while allowing them to continue performing normal actions . It uses adaptive policy enforcement ( APE ) to prevent a whole range of advanced threats . It doesn ’ t rely on scanning known signatures or patterns to identify good from bad files but sits at the kernel level .
