An American politician who was in the South Carolina House of Representatives, Katie Arrington briefly took on the role of CISO at the United States Department of Defense before being named as acting Pentagon CIO. This makes her the primary advisor to the Secretary of Defense for areas such as IT, critical satellite communications and telecommunications.
