Welcome to the May issue of Technology Magazine and my first as Editor. The impact of AI continues to be a hot topic across every industry and walk of life. It seems the AI boom is still going strong, especially considering Gartner’ s prediction that worldwide AI spending will reach a staggering US $ 2.5tn this year.

A large chunk of that spending is going towards infrastructure to help sustain the boom. In fact, many leading tech firms are looking to where Artemis II flew for their new data centres. The promise of huge AI investments and the excitement of space travel makes it an intriguing time for the technology sector. It’ s a big universe out there and we’ ve got a lot to cover.
