When Deloitte and Fortune surveyed
CEOs about their leadership through the COVID-19 pandemic , 85 % indicated that their organisations had significantly
accelerated digital transformation . The report found that cloud spending has accelerated significantly since the pandemic , as companies found themselves forced to reassess not only their operations but their mindsets . According to Deloitte , the challenge for business leaders is how best to plan – and accelerate – digital transformation . either , there will always be inherent risks that shape decision-making in technology . In order to combat these risks , we need to understand what the core objectives of both the business and the technology are , as well as their wider context .
