Adapting to industry changes As the retail landscape evolves , SASR is positioning itself to meet changing requirements . While solutions like self-checkouts or radio-frequency identification ( RFID ) product tagging and digital shelf tagging technology are changing how many retail environments operate , SASR is evolving with the industry to ensure the staffing it provides is trained for the new reality .
“ We ’ re taking our teams and providing them the opportunity to train with that client to learn the new systems that they ’ re using ,” says Bradley .
The company is also adapting to the growth of e-commerce , particularly the ‘ buy online , pickup in-store ’ ( BOPIS ) trend .
“ We ’ ve been able to help with solutions with that , particularly around the holiday season when demand increases ,” he explains .

Looking ahead internally , SASR is keeping a close eye on emerging trends , particularly the impact of Gen AI .
“ That ’ s probably the biggest change that we ’ re going to see across the staffing industry ,” Bradley explains . “ Regardless of what vertical that you ’ re in , that regulatory environment is going to shape what businesses are allowed to do and not to do .”
