GLOBAL CHIP SALES TO HIT US $ 1.6TN AS AI DRIVES SURGE

Global semiconductor revenue is expected to reach US $ 1.6tn in 2026, increasing 92 % from 2025 revenue of US $ 809bn, according to Gartner. Total revenue is projected to hit US1.9tn in 2027. Memory is the primary engine behind this growth wave, forecasted to total US $ 837bn in 2026 and accounting for 54 % of total semiconductor revenue.
