Disney appoints its first CTO this month, with Karandeep hired to modernise and unifying technology across the enterprise. Reporting to CEO Josh D’ Amaro, Karandeep brings expertise in infrastructure, consumer tech and AI from his time as CEO of Character. AI. A product-minded builder who understands fan desires, he will align technology with creativity, particularly around direct-to-consumer experiences like Disney +, while overseeing enterprise tech, data and AI platforms alongside joining technical talent.
