Boeing : data backup
Boeing filed a patent application for a blockchain technology that would backup in-flight GPS data . Implemented in either manned or unmanned craft , the backup would be secure in the case of an equipment malfunction , and was also seen as a defence against GPS spoofing , where adversaries use false signalling to trick GPS receivers into thinking they are elsewhere .

Cloud is the current owner of the data transfer and backup market – with good reason . But that doesn ’ t mean it doesn ’ t have its faults .
