Leon Vermaak is a seasoned insurance executive , having served as CEO of Santam , Sanlam and Telesure . He has a keen interest in Fintech and Insurtech and is guiding the digitisation of Standard Bank Group ’ s Insurance operations . Vermaak holds a B . Comm degree and MBA from the University of Pretoria as well as a PhD in Innovation Management from City University in London .
