“ We ’ ve also looked at use cases around our technical support . We have a global technical support model . When anyone has a challenge , they can call up one of our teams . But if we can create an automated way of self-serving , maybe with an avatar who talks through how you could replace , for example , a fan on a PC , or maybe replace the display on a PC , again , we think we can deliver a better service to our customers , but also we can do it with more efficiency .”
As he highlights , this approach to AI comes right from the top : “ Michael Dell [ founder and CEO ] believes 100 % that AI has the opportunity to transform our business . We ’ re 40 years old this year , and he ’ s not resting on his laurels . He ’ s saying , I want to make the next disruptive change to our business , and we fundamentally believe AI will be at the heart of that .”
