The main drivers for this transformation are digitalization, automation of process flows and operations, infrastructure scalability, security embedded by design.
Sunrise is now prioritising AI to become future proof. Key areas have been identified to leverage AI. Firstly, network operations, specifically in maintaining world-class quality of service and safeguarding the network with preventive maintenance. Secondly, thoughtful customer support, be it self-service enabled by a chatbot to guide customers with their enquires or contact centre or shop agents to better serve our customers’ interactions. Finally, maximising enterprise productivity by distilling business insights and empowering employees’ efficiency.

Sunrise has nurtured a global partner ecosystem to achieve its long-term goals. In 2021, Sunrise engaged with Infosys to plan and deliver its IT transformation agenda after a merger with UPC. Infosys implemented a seamless consolidation of the UPC IT estate and developed an advanced digital engagement layer.
Today, Infosys is a preferred IT services partner of Sunrise, supporting the telco in building and operating a majority of platforms across its IT landscape. Robust execution by Infosys enables Sunrise to set the strategic direction of next-generation digital services.
The Sunrise-Infosys partnership is built on mutual confidence and trust. The initial IT project was planned and executed during peak lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic. Even as the world came to a standstill, the Sunrise and Infosys teams worked shoulder-to-shoulder, supported each other in adverse circumstances, and delivered the project while working remotely.
We actively promote co-location to strengthen cultural alignment and enhance collaboration. Infosys team members rotate through Switzerland, while Sunrise employees spend time on-site with Infosys colleagues in India— fostering mutual understanding and a true one-team mindset.
