Huawei’ s TECH Cares Forum saw the company announce that it has already connected 170 million people in remote regions spanning more than 80 countries – surpassing Huawei’ s initial pledge to the International Telecommunication Union( ITU) Partner2Connect( P2C) Digital Coalition, first made in 2022.
At that time, the company committed to connecting 120 million people by 2025 – a target it has now surpassed by a significant margin.
