Case study: powering real-time optimisation at Yuntianhua In the chemical industry, the gasifier is the“ heart” of production – something that historically relied on the subjective experience of veterans to control it.
To combat this challenge, Huawei has implemented a Real-Time Optimization( RTO) foundational model that senses coupling relationships between hundreds of parameters, something it shared with partners and attendees alike at MWC.
As a result, Huawei’ s technologies have resulted in:
• Cost savings of more than US $ 1.5m per furnace annually
• Improved efficiency in the form of a 1.33 % reduction in specific coal consumption
• Automation, which now exceeds 95 %.
“ This means that AI not only makes production more stable but also directly translates into profit,” Charles says.
