Although almost 50 % of the world ’ s population are female , it ’ s reported that this applies to just 24 % of the STEM workforce . For an industry that ’ s helping to build a better future for all , it has never been more important to strive for diversity and equality to avoid unconscious bias – especially when building disruptive technologies such as AI and machine learning .
To champion and celebrate just some of the incredible women holding senior positions in what has always been a male-dominated industry , we ’ re incredibly proud to publish this list of technology trailblazers and innovators .
Not only are these women making an incredible impact in our industry , they are also advocating for diversity and helping to serve unheard voices , making them role models for women all around the world .
With International Women ’ s Day 2023 focusing on the theme of DigitALL , we hope that this list will help inspire the next generation of female tech leaders .
