Ruba Borno currently works as the Vice President , Worldwide Channels and Alliances at AWS . Prior to joining AWS in 2021 , Borno spent six years at Cisco , working her way up from VP , Growth Initiatives to the SVP and GM of CX Centers and Managed Services .

As well as her commitments to AWS , Borno also serves as a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum , who are working to create a global community of change agents to help drive positive change throughout the world . Recently , Borno was awarded with the Rising Star Award from the Electrical and Computer Engineering division at the University of Michigan .

With degrees in management information systems and hospitality administration & management , Paula Starr has worked for the best part of a decade at Cherokee Nation . Starting out as a Senior Manager of IT Enterprise Applications in 2014 , Starr was quickly promoted to Director of Enterprise Application Services and then to Chief Information Officer , where she currently still serves .

Cherokee Nation is a federally-recognised government for the people of Cherokee , which aims to strengthen the nation ' s economy through job creation , diversification , and innovation .
