Aligning technology and business strategy for growth Kramp’ s transformation journey is by no means complete – a key aspect of the programme is to deliver a meaningful transition now to ensure secure foundations for future growth.
Working with strategic partners has been a critical part of the company’ s ongoing success to date, including with technology partners Striim and Kinaxis.“ You can’ t do everything yourself,” Olivier highlights.“ We work with the big names like Microsoft, Google or Oracle, but also more niche players who bring specific expertise to an area of the business.
“ We’ ve been working with Striim, an all-in-one data streaming platform, for some time now,” he says.“ They’ ve been highly useful for data-related services. On the operational side, Kinaxis has proved invaluable, particularly for connecting the many different carriers we have in our complex landscape. You always need partners like this, who can excel in a niche area or bring external skills and experience to a certain area of the business.”
Looking ahead, Jens and Olivier will continue to focus on collaboration, alignment and the power of two in a box. In line with the company’ s strategic objectives, the pair are outlining a formal technology strategy that, rather than being a deep-dive into specific solutions and tools, focuses on answering broader and more tangible questions about the application of technology.
