RED BULL RACING AND 1PASSWORD ’ S F1 PROTECTION STRATEGY
As cybersecurity becomes increasingly important in motorsport , protecting intellectual property and engineering data is now crucial for physical car performance .
Strategically taking on this challenge , Oracle Red Bull Racing has named 1Password as its exclusive cybersecurity partner in a multi-year agreement that will see the identity security company make its Formula 1 debut .
The partnership includes implementation of 1Password ’ s Extended Access Management system across Red Bull ’ s operations , securing access to applications and protecting proprietary data for the team ’ s global workforce .
As the system will safeguard critical information , the team will travel to 24 races globally with 1Password ’ s branding appearing on the team ’ s cars , including the steering wheel displays of both Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson ’ s RB21 vehicles – a first for the racing team .
Extending beyond the track , 1Password will also support the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme – which develops female racing talent .
